나의 작업은 3D 프린팅 기법과 지금까지 이어져 오고 있는 금속공예 기법, 움직임이라는 주제를 통해 장신구와 신체의 관계를 직설적으로 이야기한다. 디지털의 복제로 만들어진 수천 개의 체인은 결정되지 않은 다발의 형태로 출력된다. 이것은 디지털만이 가지고 있는 무한의 선택, 끊임없는 변형과 조절 가능성의 완벽함을 나타내고 착용자에 의해서만 형태가 결정되는 ‘우연한 행운’의 기회를 주기 위함이다. 그 뒤 탄성을 지닌 폴리아마이드 체인의 다발이 몸 위에 착용되어 신체의 지속적인 움직임과 중력의 변화에도 민감하게 반응하며 착용자를 통해 형태를 완성한다. 작품의 완성은 착용자에 의해 이루어지고 관람자에게 정신적 반응을 불러일으키며 그 의미를 확대해 나간다.

My work features a direct relationship between jewellery and the human body through 3D printing and traditional metal crafting techniques, and the subject of movement. Thousands of chains are printed through digital replication in the form of indeterministic bundles. This is to provide the chance of ‘coincident luck’ that represents the perfection of the limitless possibility of choice, transformation, and adjustment; and to emphasize that a wearer shall only determine the form. After that, the bundle of elastic polyamide chain is worn by a person to complete the firm by sensitively reacting to the consistent movement of the body and the fluctuation of the gravity. The work shall be completed by the wearer, invoking a spiritual reaction of the audience to expand its meaning.
